To: | Wednesday 06 September 2023 |
Time: | 10:30am - 12:00pm Wednesday 06 September 2023 |
Location: | Toowoomba City Library - Cnr Herries and Victoria, 155 Herries Street, Toowoomba, QLD |
Do you have any special stories in relation to your garden during the COVID-19 pandemic? Would you like to share your stories with like-minded people? We would love to hear your stories. This project aims to explore the pandemic gardening experience. In these workshops, you will be writing your own garden story (100-200 words only) and reflecting on the past few years of pandemic experience, facilitated by Dr. Mimi Tsai at Toowoomba City Library. You may bring along any pictures of your gardens or garden related images that inspired you during the pandemic.
Your stories will be part of Mimi's 2022 John Oxley Library Fellowship research project, Vernacular Landscapes and Queensland Memories: Exploring Queensland’s resilience through narratives of therapeutic environments.
These digital storytelling workshops are completely free. Light refreshments will be provided.
The workshops run on the 6th and 13th of September.
