During 2016 Council completed a region-wide flood risk study which classified Maclagan and Quinalow as high risk areas for flooding.
As an essential next step, a Floodplain Risk Management Plan to investigate the potential to mitigate the economic, social and environmental impacts of flooding is being developed for Maclagan and Quinalow.
