A Deep dive into Coloured Porcelain is a comprehensive and fun exploration of ceramic colour, form, and approaches. The focus of the class will be on creating high quality ceramic pieces using nerikomi (pattern making) and neriage (marbled) techniques. These methods include colouring porcelain with ceramic stains and forming controlled and free form patterns without the use of glaze. This class is perfect for makers who are looking to discover their own unique style and enjoy testing, problem solving and refining their skills. NB. We will not cover slip casting or agateware in this workshop.
