Located 35 kilometres from the Toowoomba CBD, the historic township of Goombungee is hosting the 24th Annual Jacaranda Day Festival.
With a program of free entertainment, food, farm animal petting zoo, face painting and Cleo the Clown and over 15 market stalls offering homemade goods and plants- there's lots to see and do.
You can also enjoy free guided walking tours (9am, 10am and 1.15pm) of the township and entry to the extensive exhibits in the Museum.
The jacarandas will be putting on a spectacular show of colour and the trees in the main street (Mocatta Street) will be "dressed" to a movie theme this year.
