Garden City Country Music Assoc. held their bi-monthly Social on Sunday 8^th February at the Trinity Lutheran Church Hall in Hume Street with special guest artist 2014 Country Rush winner Tishayne McIntosh, who displayed her talent with her yodelling ability, really giving the crowd an exceptional thrill.  While the crowd may have been down slightly, mainly due to many other functions listed for the day, those present were treated to a great afternoon’s entertainment by Tishayne and members of the Club.

Their next Social will be on Sunday 12^th April from 1pm to 5pm with special guest artists for the day being Ged and Trudy Hintz from Crow’s Nest.

Over the past couple of years Ged and Trudy have forged a reputation as one of the Country’s finest duos having won the Award for the best Group/Duo at the Gidgee Coal Awards in 2012 and a Finalist in 2014.   They were also Finalists for the Duo Awards at Bungendore in 2015, where Trudy was also a Finalist in the Female Vocal section, having won that Award in 2013.

Ged also won 2013 Best New Talent Award at the Gidgee Coal Awards and was a Finalist the same year in “Album of the Year” at Bungendore.

Their talents have been displayed across the Country building up a huge following in the process and a fabulous afternoon is guaranteed by Ged and Trudy and members of the Club, so mark the date on your Calender, Sunday 12^th April.   See you there!!!
