Experience chamber music with a difference, Artico-style!
Listen to some of the most beautiful music ever written and take home wonderful and lasting memories of what you hear, see and discover. A great selection of timeless classics, neglected gems, quirky oddities and outright showstoppers – something for everyone regardless of age, background, music tastes and experience in listening to chamber music.
Program will include:
• the rarely heard “Nocturnes” by Mozart
• the timeless “Shepherd On The Rock” by Franz Schubert
• the beautiful “Three Songs of Innocence” by English composer Arnold Cooke, based on poetry by William Blake
• stunning tangos by Argentinean composer Àstor Piazzolla
• the award-winning “Australian Backyard Suite” by Artico’s own Paul Kopetz
A reception in the USQ Arts Gallery will follow the recital – refreshments will be served.
