WORKSHOP - CURIOUS CULTIVATIONS: HARNESSING THE POWER OF COLLABORATION
From: | Monday 04 March 2019 |
---|---|
To: | Monday 04 March 2019 |
Time: | 10:00am - 01:00pm Monday 04 March 2019 |
Location: | Dance Central, 3 Taylor St, Toowoomba, QLD 4350 Australia |
As the African Proverb states - "If you want to go fast, go alone. If you want to go far, go together." However, in today’s world we’re asked to go further AND do it faster. How then does one harness the power of collaboration to go further and do it efficiently?
In this workshop Prying Eye artists who manage working together and living together share practices that they have developed to make the process of joint ventures more productive, more innovative, non-destructive, and most of all more enjoyable.
If you engage in team work of any kind whether it’s an aspect of work projects, social engagements, or personal relationships, this workshop is for you. Come and learn tools to aid more constructive conversations, level the playing field with your associates, build trust with others, disarm destructive defence mechanisms, and keep ego at bay.
Yes, this workshop is held in a dance studio … but don’t worry we don’t expect you to dance! However, we do like to move around so come prepared in clothes that you’re comfortable to move about in. Please also bring a book/paper to write on, something to write with and a bottle of water in case you get thirsty.
*Recommended age - 12+
