Queensland’s largest Camellia Show, ‘Toowoomba Camellia Show and Garden Expo’

There will be plenty of exquisite camellia blooms which are once again set to dazzle at the Toowoomba Camellia Show and Garden Expo on 20 and 21 July, at Toowoomba TAFE Quadrangle (entrance via Campbell Street) on the Darling Downs.

Visitors to the Heritage Bank Joan Falvey Camellia Hall will be left breathless by the display of a huge range of Camellia cultivars and species blooms, with colours ranging from brilliant reds, through to subtle pinks and perfect whites.

Camellias will also be on sale, as well as a massive range of quality winter flowering annual and perennial plants at the numerous specialist plant growers and nursery stands.

Amongst the inspirational and knowledgeable guest speakers will be Sophie Thomson from ABC Gardening Australia, Jerry Colby-Williams and our very own Brian Sams!

Entertainment for the weekend will be provided by Toowoomba Choral Society and other guest performers.

Other attractions include a good range of exhibitors, including gardening related products and machinery, arts and crafts, and the chance to win exciting prizes in the multi-draw raffle.  The Wilsonton Lions barbeque will also be running during the weekend, as well as other great food choices including one of Toowoomba’s Top Pastry Chefs Mark White from Parisiann Patisserie!

An added bonus for all visitors will be displays of vehicles from our local car clubs on Sunday ONLY.

The Toowoomba Camellia and Garden Expo is open from 9am to 4pm on July 20 and 21. Entry is only $10 with Children under 15 free. (with proceeds going to our very own Toowoomba Hospice)
