A GREAT DAY OUT FOR THE FAMILY!

Clifton Jockey Club, in association with the Australasian Arabian Racing Club, are proud to present this inaugural event of the Arab Horse Racing at Clifton.

Saturday 25 June will see a spectacle not ever seen before in Clifton... a race meeting for Arabian and part-Arabian horses. Entries will come from all over the eastern states, as this meeting will be a qualifier for the international Sheikh Mansoor Arabian Racing Festival.  

Arab Racing is different to the traditional thoroughbred racing, and is unique in that there is no betting facility or bookmakers at the event.  Keen punters can watch other thoroughbred races on the Sky TV whilst soaking up the atmosphere at the live Arab races!

There will be a middle-Eastern theme on the day, with market stalls, fashions on the field, and lots of activities for young and old.

Bring your best beanie and scarf for the Winter-themed fashions, and indulge in yummy warm food and drinks.

There’s something for everyone!

• The Race Program includes 5 races
• Bar - selection of beer, wine, champagne & spirits
• Canteen – a good selection of hot and cold food
• Market Stalls will be set up on the day – wine, handcrafts…etc.
• Kids face painting and other activities to keep them busy
• Raffle Prize:  weekend away for 2, plus $200 cash and $100 alcohol, courtesy of Clifton Real Estate
• No formal Marquee or Corporate Tents at this event
• Limited number of shade tents, tables and chairs are available – no bookings - first in first served
• Winter themed Fashions on the Field
• Option to dress up in your best Arabian outfit!

Gates open 11am, just $5 entry per person. Plenty of free car parking.

Camping facilities available next to the track at Council's Camping Grounds.
