Harness your creativity and learn how to create your very own mini zine or comic!

In conjunction with the exhibition Copier Jam! curated by Jeremy Staples, Co-founder of the Toowoomba Zine and Independent Comic Symposium. 

Zines and independently produced comics are dramatically unique and cover topics ranging from the love of making cupcakes to personal journal entries from a young person living on the street. Jeremy’s workshop will highlight the underground culture of zines and independent comics and how they are an analogue outlet of expression in today's digital world. The workshop will provide participants with the skills necessary to create a zine or comic using simple DIY materials, originality and artistry.

Suitable for ages 10 - 18 years | Cost $10.00 per person | All materials supplied

[All children must be accompanied - accompanying adult admitted free of charge] 

Places are limited and bookings required (bookings are confirmed upon receipt of full payment and signed booking form)

Payment can be made on the day of the workshop or prior:

Copier Jam! is on display from Saturday 25 June until Sunday 7 August 2016. Stick around after the workshop and join in the celebration of the exhibition's official opening at 1:30pm.
