The Toowoomba Regional Council is proud to partner with Telstra, the University of Southern Queensland, TAFE Queensland and Toowoomba & Surat Basin Enterprise (TSBE) to deliver the Mayor's Telstra Innovation Awards in 2019, exclusively to high schools within the Toowoomba Region.

The awards encourage innovation and entrepreneurship and entries are now open to teams of three (3) students in Years 9 – 12. This is a fantastic opportunity for participants to work with industry professionals through mentoring sessions, and to pitch their idea to the school community and business leaders.

There is $10,000 in prizes up for grabs, including an exclusive guided tour of Telstra’s Customer Service Insight Centre in Sydney for the winning team.

Phase 1 entries close on Monday 19 August, allowing four weeks for generation of ideas and submission of entries.
