The 167th Anniversary of the 1854 Eureka Stockade rebellion will be honoured in Toowoomba with a flag raising in the Village Square, at 532 Ruthven St (next to the Toowoomba Regional Art Gallery).  

The Ceremony will commence a 5:30pm on Friday 3rd December 2021.

Acting-Secretary of the Toowoomba Eureka Stockade Day Committee Neil Riethmuller said, "Reforms won at Ballarat include the historic first Australian right to vote without property owning qualifications.  As such it remains a giant step towards today's universal suffrage."

The public are invited to attend and participate.  Period costume is optional.
