This exhibition is a record of the visual representations of stored memories. It explores and reveals what different artists find interesting, beautiful or important: a strong memory of a past event, a tiny fragment, a memory triggered by a fragrance or visceral sensation, words, – anything, however fleeting.

Paper, cloth and fibre are containers of memories – personal, cultural, historical, geographical, emotional. A physical object can capture the essence of a memory.

It is always interesting to discover what each individual artist has chosen to remember.

Within this exhibition are two challenges: Dilly bags and mini-scroll books, also containers of memories.
