Join us on Sunday 26 June from 10:30am - 12pm for 'Greetings From' an experimental media-based workshop with Ben Tupas. 

In the workshop, participants will explore their own personal, visual memories related to their previous travel. Using photographs, video and postcards as stimulus, participants will create new iterations and representations of these travel stories using the context of the natural and built environment of Crows Nest.

Cost: $10pp
Ages: 16+
Requirements: Participants must bring a smartphone or camera to the workshop and wear suitable clothes for outdoor activities/wet conditions with enclosed shoes.

Ben is a Toowoomba based artist who draws from an extensive experience as a specialist educator in primary, secondary and university settings. He has facilitated a range of workshops across regional southern Queensland with the Australian Broadcasting Corporation.

Greetings from Eurasia is a new video installation from Filipino Australian artist Ben Tupas that explores the concept of travel using curious objects seen through a bicultural lens.
