The Disability Royal Commission is investigating violence, abuse, neglect, and exploitation of people with a disability. It wants to hear from people with a disability in all settings including schools, workplaces, jails, and group homes as well as from their families, carers, supporters and advocates. The forum will inform people about how to share their story with the Commission, get advice and support and find out how they can access counselling, advocacy and legal support where needed.

This FREE forum is a chance for people with a disability and their supporters to find out how to share their story with the Commission, get advice and support, and find out how they can access counselling, advocacy and legal support where needed.

In providing evidence to the commission, you will be contributing to developing new systems, procedures and plans for Australia’s future.

Your story can help to develop better outcomes for people with disability and their families.

The forum will be hosted by Lotus Support Services and TASC Toowoomba and will inform people about how to share their story.
