Basic Hand-building Pottery Workshop will be held at the Deutscher Ceramic Studio. Mary will demonstrate Pinch Pots, Slab and Coil methods to create model pieces. Participants will have the opportunity to underglaze selected pieces. By the end of the workshop participants will have made a range of pieces to fire. These can be collected at a later date due to drying and timing of firing procedures. A gluten free lunch will be provided and herbal tea available throughout the day. Closed flat shoes to be worn, bring a towel and being able to stand at a workbench for periods of time would be necessary.
