Toowoomba Emergency Service Day CANCELLED.

QFES has had to make the difficult decision to postpone the Toowoomba Emergency Services Day which was scheduled to be held this Saturday 20 May at Newtown Park, in Taylor St.

We have conducted a risk assessment to identify and determine any possible strategies to allow us to continue with the event, unfortunately the decision had to be made by QFES to postpone this event with a new date to be advised.

The possible damage to council infrastructure with a large number of heavy plant and machinery along with the public liability from the possible damage is not a  risk that QFES wishes to undertake at this time.

We would like to postpone to a later date once grounds have dried out and the risk has significantly reduced.

Thanks to everyone’s involvement at this time and apologise for any inconvenience.

Emergency Services Day is a cash only event and all proceeds raised go to LifeFlight.
