The Harmony Day (21 March) celebrates Australia’s cultural diversity. It’s about inclusiveness, respect, and a sense of belonging for everyone.

The continuing message of Harmony Day is 'Everybody Belongs' and its annual observance aims to encourage inclusiveness, respect and belonging and resilience for all Australians, regardless of cultural background, and celebrate core Australian values.

Toowoomba Community members are organising the Harmony Day picnic in the park at Picnic Point on Saturday 25^th March, 11am start to 2pm.

The day's program includes Welcome to Country and smoking ceremony, guest speakers ,activities and entertainment from various cultural groups showcasing our rich tapestry of cultures recognising the contribution from the  First People to newly arrived refugee and migrants who came to settle in Toowoomba.  This is also an opportunity to welcome those who have just arrived to settle and visit from many countries to contribute  to our journey as a nation.”
