Chris is a well know local musician and has been playing in bands from a young age.. Being self taught and working hard to develop his skills, enabled him to tour with many of Australia's top acts covering all genres.

Chris has also played at both the Towoomba and Brisbane Jazz Clubs. After hearing Graham Muller playing jazz piano at an early age, Chris took on a love for jazz music. With that inspiration Chris has put together a trio with Mark Chalmers and Jonathan Willis playing jazz standards and popular songs with a jazz influence.

The rhythm section for the night consists of Mark Chalmers on electric and upright basses and Jonathan Willis on drums. Mark needs no introduction to the jazz club with his work in Beef Cheeks and the Salty Beans, Blue in Green, and a host of others well known. Jonathan Willis first performed at the Toowoomba Jazz Society back in the Water Street days with Stop Thinkin’. More recently he has teamed up with Mark & Chris along with Jesse Kupper at Ross Kessler’s Jazz, Funk and Groove Jams. Mark and Jonathan have played together for over 15 years in legendary Toowoomba rock band Project 62. All those years of experience playing together will have the bottom end of the trio nailed down tight, acting as a solid platform for the evening’s entertainment.

PARKING: Access the car park off Gipps Street or there are parks in front of the bowling green in Ball Street and access via the gate.

ENTRANCE: Up the steps from the car park on the southern side of the building or from the bowling green side. Disabled access ramp on the Western side (Gipps Street) and through the bar.
