Toowoomba's Doll Bear and Winter Craft Show

This iconic show is now under new management and showcases the regions best doll and bear makers in this one day show. Timeless favourites are still there, the Doll and Bear Competitive Exhibtion and Marketplace, also the valuations. The new Winter craft section is an exciting addition to the show.  All genre of dolls [ vintage to art dolls ] cuddly bears and components to make your own.  Demonstrations plus delicious snacks at the Teddy Bear Tearooms. Dressing the Doll raises hope for Hospice.  Individuals, businesses and charity groups are invited to dress a lifesize doll in the “Winter is Coming” theme with the opportunity that if the lucky winner is a charity, then they will be able to use the prize money for their cause.  Big Dog worker Mellissa says “ its a fun way to raise moneys for hospice and our people just love the creative activity”.

Toowoomba Doll Bear and Winter Craft Show convener Barb Nimmo says the wearable art competition is a first for Toowomba, one which we hope will grow in future years.  We are looking for fun  imaginative designs.   They are judged by public choice. All entry fees going to hospice.

The dolls will be on show for judging on the day May 19^th , Lutheran Church Hall Cnr James and Phillip St, Toowoomba.
