Walk and talk : Tales from our Hospital's History

John Clements, author of History of the Mother's Hospital to 1955 and History of the General Hospital will be giving guided tours around selected historical areas of the hospital in July and August, sharing some of the rare insights from his broad knowledge of the buildings and those who lived and worked there over the past century. The museum has recently been relocated to Freshney House and is more accessible to the general public.

Tours will commence at theToowoomba Hospital Foundation, 41 Joyce Street from 9am and visit the former Mother's Hospital, Cossart House, and the brick and other old morgues, the boiler house and chimney stack, a former nurses' home and conclude at the newly relocated museum. Duration Approx 1 -1.5 hours.
