The Mountain Man Motocross committee has a dedicated group of passionate MX enthusiasts.

There is an abundance of experience to make this event as big and significant as it was through the 70's and 80's.

The Echo Valley circuit from its beginning was regarded as one of the best motocross tracks in Australia.

The challenging elevation of the track had not been witnessed in Australia before 1975 when the first Mountain Man Motocross was held. Described as European style,

it started the evolution of tracks being developed around the country and to this day is still one of the most spectacular places to race and for spectators to see up close high flying, beam blasting, handlebar to handlebar racing action.

Spectators will hear commentary and interviews from the “Motor Mouth’ of motocross Mr Bob Johnson, a legend in his own right.

He will delve into the past with all the previous winners of Mountain Man and talk with the current stars when giving their impression of what it takes to be a champion of motocross and conquer the Echo Valley circuit.

Past winning legends will be riding parade laps at mid day on replica bikes; the same as they rode back when they won the Mountain Man Motocross crown.

All winning bikes will be on display in the VIP/Legends tent.

Mountain Man Motocross posters will be available at the VIP tent where spectators can meet the legends and current pro riders, get autographs and inspect the vintage and current race bikes during the day.
