The Friends of the Queensland State Rose Garden in Newtown Park invite you to a Mother's Day Sausage Sizzle in the Rose Garden on Sunday 12 May 2019 from 11am-1pm.

Local keyboard player Denis O'Hara will supply the entertainment, in addition to guided tours of the gardens being offered by the Friends.

The $5 sausage sizzle will include a sausage in a roll, tea, coffee or soft drink, and a ticket to go into the draw for the lucky door prize (a fruit tray).

Extra soft drinks are $2 and tea/coffee/water $1.

Potted plants, floral arrangements, and homemade cakes and jams, will also be available for purchase on the day.

All funds raised from the event will go towards the rose gardens.
