Free Community Open Day

The Royal Bull's Head Inn is playing host to a special gathering to celebrate 170 years since Benjamin Glennie conducted the first church service on the Darling Downs.  Benjamin Glennie spent 26 years of his life on the Darling Downs and he is remembered as the founder of the Glennie Memorial School.  Come and see "Glennie" arrive on his horse drawn sulky and Parishioners the Anglican Churches; St Johns of Dalby, St Marks of Warwick, St Luke's of Toowoomba and St Matthews make their walk to the Royal Bull's Head Inn just like the early settlers would have done back in the day.  There will be a Church Service on the day as well as other activities and historical talks.  Bring your own picnic lunch or pre order one from the National Trust to enjoy on the day.  Visit our Facebook Page for further information
