Come along to a half day workshop by local horticulturalist Brian Sams to learn how to grow your own fruit and vegetables in backyard gardens, patches and pots. You do not need to have attended a beginners workshop to attend an organic veggie patch workshop. Bookings are essential.

This workshop costs $5 and will be held from 9am to 12pm on Saturday the 20th Feb 2016.

2015-16 organic veggie patch workshops will cover:

• organic veggie growing
• compost making (including worms)
• organic pest control
• problem solving and soil testing
• companion planting

Everyone who attends a Seed to Feed workshop over 2015-16 will go into the draw to win a session with Brian Sams to boost their veggie patch.

One workshop per person is permitted. All workshops are the same and aimed at beginners wishing to learn how to start growing their own backyard fruit and vegetables. Workshops are designed for adults, however participants 12 years and over are welcome to join in. Participants must wear enclosed shoes.
