The Garden City Zonta Club has officially launched its very popular Homes Tour for 2016, and this year the tour will take guests to visit homes in Toowoomba and Hampton.

We are featuring Heritage and Contemporary Homes to show case changes in architecture and expectations of owners over the years.

In previous years, attendees have been delighted by the presentation of the homes and the delicious morning tea and lunch provided. The very popular Sauce Kitchen, itself located in an award heritage building, caters for morning tea and lunch is provided at St Ursula’s school.

This is a much anticipated event in the Toowoomba Region and provides a fascinating trip across its varied architectural styles.

The money raised this year will assist two not for profit organisations:

  • the DEBRA Australia support service that assists ‘cotton wool’ babies and their families and
  • SMART PUPS which provides trained assistance dogs for children with special needs.
