The Murray Darling Association will hold its 75th Jubilee National Conference and Annaul General Meeting at Toowoomba in October 2019.

The three-day event, themed ReGeneration… for a healthy Basin, will focus on various topics, including regenerative agriculture, renewable energy opportunities, climate change, and the continued implementation of the Basin Plan. These topics will be explored through presentations, panel sessions and a study tour of the Toowoomba region.

The event will attract more than 200 people from throughout the Murray-Darling Basin - representing local government, community organisations, government agencies, business and industry.

The national conference will also be a major celebration, marking the Association’s 75th anniversary. Formed in 1944, the Murray Darling Association, formerly the Murray Valley Development League, is the only association of local government that covers all four Basin states and has a focus solely on Basin-related issues
