A free family day in the park to observe United Nations World Environment Day. This year's event honours 1960's,1970's and 1980's Toowoomba peace and environmental activist the late Ken Ferrier. The Day will feature information on United Nations issues including the environment, multiculturalism, peace, multifaith, Indigenous matters, anti-racism and social justice.


A program of entertainment includes music, song, dance, and speakers. Food stalls will operate. Special guest will be singer-songwriter Pepper Jane.
The location is in Lake Anand Park on the corner of Mackenzie and Long Streets, Toowoomba
