“The Podiatry Point” 2016 King and Queen of Range

Registrations are now open for the 2016 “King and Queen of the Range” to be held on Sunday, 24th July with Walkers commencing at 7:30am and Runners at 8:00am. Registratiosn can be completed at trr.org.au/events-registration/.

Entry Fees are $30 for Runners and $20 for Walkers – please note the minimum age is 12 years and no dogs, prams, bikes, roller blades, etc. are permitted for safety reasons under our permit. The permit also requests that particpants wear high visibilty clothing. Registrations will also be available from 6:30am on the day, however an additional late entry fee of $10 will apply, therefore we encourage participants to register online.

The route will be the same as last year starting from the corner of Biggs Road and the Warrego Highway  at Withcott (opposite the Hotel), heading up the range left in to Stevenson Street then up to Curtis Street and around Tourist Road to the finish at Picnic Point.

Prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd male/female. Prizes will also be awarded for category winners in 12 to 29 years, 30 to 44 years and 45 plus.

PLEASE NOTE: THE RACE MAY BE DELAYED OR ABANDONED DUE TO ADVERSE WEATHER CONDITIONS WITH THE POLICE TO MAKE THE FINAL DECISION.
