This is a one-day Feldenkrais workshop for everyone who can notice that they hold their breath. We will explore and experience the power of breathing and relaxing the eyes to calm the whole body and mind. Our breathing changes continuously in response to events every day. A very common response is to hold the breath, and there are times when we forget to restart. Also, in our visual world, everyone wants to grab our attention with eye-catching images. Our brains get tired processing all of this stuff, and to relax the eyes means to rest the whole body.
We will experience how to find ease in the eyes and breathing, hence ease in movement, posture and thoughts.

Much of the work is done on the floor, though all of this workshop can be done in sitting if required.

We will touch on anatomy with some hands-on if you are happy to do that.
We will discuss nutrition as it affects our breathing and muscle action.
We will learn some quick tricks to take home to practise.
