Dementia Australia's Family Carers Course is designed for family carers of people living with dementia.
This courses provides practical strategies for managing day-to-day and to beter understand your own needs and the needs of those for whom you care.
Topics include the nature of dementia, effective communication, the impact of dementia, activities for living and plesure and udnerstanding and responding to
behaviours of concern.
This course is not suitable for paid carers.
