Fully funded by the State and Federal Government, under the 2018 Disaster Recovery Funding Arrangements - so your attendance is completely free of charge.

The purpose of Reflect, Replenish, Restore is to provide an opportunity for support and self-care for workers, volunteers, and community members involved in disaster, critical incident, or emergency response work. Indeed any frontline work where you are regularly exposed to distress, crisis, or trauma.

It aims to support those involved in recovery work to avoid burnout. This personal reflection and connection is promoted through story sharing, discussion of existing and potential self-care strategies, and exploration of strengths and values.

Outcomes:

Participants are supported to:

 Reflect on their experience to date

 Replenish their sense of well-being and connectedness with others

 Restore their sense of hope and the energy to continue the work of recovery

 

Format:

One-Day Face-to-Face, plus one 2.5-hour Online Virtual Workshop
(attendance at both sessions is required)
