Millinery Workshop with Michelle Jensen

Create a custom-made felt headpiece in this two day millinery workshop

Date: Saturday 18 - Sunday 19 March 2017
Time: 9am – 4pm
Cost: $345 (incl GST) including expert instruction, all materials and morning and afternoon tea and lunch.
Age: 16 years and over
Requirements: Please wear closed in shoes

Millinery Workshops have a maximum of ten participants.

On the day

Be guided through the steps to making a custom-made felt headpiece. You will use traditional millinery techniques such as blocking, stiffening and trimming. Workshop participants can choose their own felt colours*.
*With 14 days notice.

Meet your tutor

Michelle Jensen is a trade qualified milliner who discovered her passion for millinery when she was living in Mount Isa and attending country race meetings. She pursued her interest and turned it into a successful millinery business. Many of her hats have been awarded the fashions on the field prizes at race meetings around the region.
