Hot damn… The Murphys Creek Chilli Festival is back!
Perfect for the chilli diehards, this festival celebrates flavour and fire in the Lockyer Valley and generously donates all proceeds to local charities.
A not-to-be-missed festival of all things chilli related, this bi-annual one-day spicy event is now in it’s eighth year and showcases over 60 chilli-themed local and passionate vendors and street food trucks serving up spicy dishes that are ready to ignite your senses and please your palate. (GF, DF, V options available).
Come and celebrate the end of chilli harvest and the beginning of the chilly season. Sample everything from chilli jerky to chilli chocolate ice cream, plus over 200 chilli sauces. Try and buy the best chilli products from mild to wild as you celebrate Flavour and Fire. Chilli plants and seedlings will also be available, plus an array of free entertainment, classic cars, activities for the kiddies and you can even bring your furry friend.
To spice things up even more, you can also challenge yourself to one of their chilli eating competitions—burny! Plus kids watermelon and icy pole eating competitions.
$1 donation per person – Parking is free and ample.
