2024 Parks Week JE Duggan Park Bushland Reserve Open Day

Friends of Escarpment Parks Toowoomba invite you to come and explore the natural wonders of  JE Duggan Park for its upcoming Open Day. Bookings are essential.

7.30am - 8.30am: Guided bird watching walks (pre-booking and sign in essential).

8.30am - 12pm: Static displays by Toowoomba Native Plants Qld, Toowoomba Bird Observers, Crows Nest Community Nursery, Birdlife South East Qld
A Rocha International – Christian Nature Conservation, Friends of the Escarpment Parks & Hancock Street Park Micro Forest, Gardens for Wildlife Toowoomba Region and Sow and Nurtured Bush Kindy. 

9am: Guided plant and butterfly/invertebrate identification walks through the reserve (pre-booking and sign-in essential).

9.30am-10.15am Sow and Nurtured Bush Kindy. Participate in sharing a story with a yarn circle read by Tiff and a connection to Country bushwalk (pre-booking and sign-in essential). All children must be accompanied by a parent/legal guardian during the activity. 

7pm- 8pm: Guided spotlight walk (pre-booking and sign-in essential).
