Toowoomba artist Sarah Walker is showcasing her first solo exhibition From Root to Fruit.

Sarah loves to paint mostly still life pieces and uses fruit as symbols to capture moments in life and the world around her. Each artwork captures the richness of her life using a vivid colour palette as a language of expression.

Taking this solo step in her art journey has enabled Sarah to be a role model for her daughter - her biggest cheerleader and critique. Her daughter plays a major role in her art journey which is reflected in some of the pieces.

Sarah’s hope is that visitors viewing her artworks will experience some joy, hope in darkness and an extra depth in life as a result.

Join us for an Artist Talk event on Saturday 4 May at 1pm.

On Saturday 18 May Sarah will conduct a Fun Fruit Collage Workshop.

Exhibition on display 1 May – 26 May 2024
