Empower Autism is presenting our emPOWER UP: Independence in the Community

Our program is fully funded for all participants with no out-of-pocket expense.

This program was created by autistic people for autistic people, specifically to empower young, autistic adults to increase their capacity for independence. The program is designed to ensure particpants have the tools and strategies to survive and thrive in their daily lives through four core modules: living arrangements, responsible citizenship, postive relationships, and well-being. 

Participating in this program will allow particpants to build internal resources, improve their social capacity, and gain essential skills to take into their homes and community. 

When: Monday 8th April, Wednesday 10th April, and Friday 12th April (3 half days)

Time: 12pm - 4pm 

Where: Community Rooms, Level 3, City Library Building, 155 Herries Street, Toowoomba. Seminar Room TBA. 

Who: Empower Autism is a not-for-profit that strives to continually enable positive social change by autisitc people for autistic people through programs based on inclusiveness, self-development, and self-advocacy.
