Queenslanders with Disability Network is hosting an opportunity to speak with senior staff and board members, about the issues faced by the disability community in Toowoomba. This is in conjunction with the monthly peer support group meetings held each month in the Toowoomba community meeting rooms.

We would like to invite you to the upcoming Toowoomba Town Hall meeting.

The QDN Town Hall meetings are to share more information about Queenslanders with Disability Network (QDN) and the important work we do. Some of our Senior Staff and a Board Director will be there to talk about issues faced by the disability community in the area.

Queenslanders with Disability Network is a state-wide not-for-profit executive peak body organisation for and led by people with diverse disability.

• All our work is focused on disability rights and systemic advocacy.
• QDN’s work is centred around a strong network of people across Queensland and peer support groups which inform, connect, lead, and influence change.
• We are a vibrant, active network of influencers, decision-makers, spokespeople, consultants, group members and peer leaders with a drive to make change happen. 
• We believe there should be ‘Nothing about us without us.’
• We work on projects that align with our vision and mission around important issues in the lives of people with disability. 
• We believe in co-design to work together with communities, services, business, industry and government to lead and influence change.
• QDN encourages members to build their skills and become Peer Leaders within the member network.
• We host regular Peer Support Groups for people with disability across the state.  These groups are convened by people with disability. Including one in Toowoomba that is usually held on the last Wednesday of the month from 1.30pm – 3.30pm at the Toowoomba City, Library.
