This workshop will give you a foundation for portrait drawing with 2 different approaches. You will discover which best suits you and add this skill to your art practice. Suitable for complete beginners to experienced artists. Enjoy the medium of charcoal drawing and how effective a simple piece of burnt willow can produce wonderful portraits and expressive lines and forms.
We will begin with some very basic anatomy, face proportions, plane change, and other technical terms you will come to understand and appreciate! This workshop is both technically traditional with room for expressive ideas!
