The story of Legally Blonde follows Elle Woods, who faces stereotypes, snobbery, and scandal in pursuit of her dreams. When her high school boyfriend, Warner, claims she's not "serious" enough for him and goes to Harvard, Elle takes matters into her own hands. She crafts a showy song-and-dance personal essay and charms her way into law school. Along the way, she befriends classmates Emmett and spunky hairdresser Paulette. As Elle begins to outsmart her peers, she realises that law may be her natural calling after all.
