The celebration of the Kulpi State School Centenary will be held at the Kulpi State School, 9 Beckman Street, Kulpi on Saturday 8 August 2015.

The event begins at 9.00am, with formal proceedings later in the morning and a range of activities throughout the day including old fashioned games, such as sack races and egg and spoon races and other activities for the children, class photos, catching up with old friends and sharing memories, various displays, viewing of the time capsule contents from the 75^th anniversary and the contents for the new time capsule.   The centenary mosaic will be unveiled.  People with a connection to the school will also have the opportunity to purchase and design pavers to commemorate their history with the school.

A 196 page book has been produced by a dedicated team of volunteers.  It documents the history of the school and includes many interesting anecdotes and photos that will bring back memories for many people.  These will be able to be collected on the day.  However, to secure a copy people are invited to preorder ($25) via the Kulpi State School P&C Facebook page and the related Centenary event page. https://www.facebook.com/kulpistateschoolpandc
