John Foster, world leading exponent of Historical trumpets leads Queensland Peroid Instrument Orchestra, in a programme of triumphant Baroque Baroque masterpieces to celebrate the 25th Anniversary of the 4MBS Festival of Classics.  Music by Henry and Daniel Purcell, Telemann, Graupner, Hasse and Franeschini.  Excepts from Vivaldi's Gloria, Let the Bright Seraphim from Handel's Solomon and Bach's Cantanta No 51 Jauchzet Gott in allen Landen.  Sing along with Purcell's Come, Come Ye Sons of Art.  Leslie Martin-Nightingale, a Brisbane favourite brings her wealth of experience to these works and showcases an emerging artist from Toowoomba, Soprano, Calista Walters.  Together these artists bring new energy to old music.
