This year, every individual with a Medicare or Department of Veterans’ Affairs card will get a My Health Record unless they choose not to have one.  The opt-out period has been extended until 15 November 2018.My Health Record is an online summary of your health information. Over time, My Health Record will bring together health information such as medical conditions, medicines, allergies and test results in one place. This means safer and more efficient care for you and your family.Darling Downs and West Moreton PHN are working with the Australian Digital Health Agency on the My Health Record expansion nationally. The Darling Downs and West Moreton PHN digital health team will be hosting an information session so that you can learn more about what My Health Record is, the benefits of having a My Health Record, access and information control information, and how you can let the Australian Government know if you don’t want one.
