Mother's Day celebrates mothers all around the world, but there are many women who may feel left out on the day. They may have experienced the death of a baby or babies, they may have struggled to become pregnant, or had a miscarriage or stillbirth. For them, the day may bring sad feelings—feelings of isolation, loneliness, unworthiness, and pain.

International Bereaved Mother's Day acknowledges women who have experienced the loss of a child, or who have had difficulty conceiving. They deserve recognition and love just like other mothers.

Our Bereaved Mother's Day morning tea gives an opportunity for bereaved mother's/families/siblings to come together in support of each other. It gives an opportunity for each other to listen (if they wish to share), to speak their child's name, to take steps to healing, to honour you and your child/ren and to connect with a supportive group of like minded people.
