Ins and Outs reflects on the contemporary tension and overlap between the visual artist's attempt to translate small-scale illustration and creative works onto outdoor, large-scale murals. Curated by Toowoomba illustrator and graphic artist Sophie Blackhall-Cain, this emerging tension between the indoor and outdoor, the mural and the illustration, the public space and the private studio is explored by national and international artists in the works on display. Ins and Outs is exhibited in conjunction with First Coat Art and Music Festival.
