How delightful it is to have a band called "Days of Wine & Rosier" playing for us on Valentine's Day!
Featuring some familiar faces, and some others you may not have seen before, ‘Days of Wine & Rosier’ is a fusion of contrasting jazz influences including Trad, Swing, Latin, Gypsy, Pop, Blues, and Ragtime. Add in some Smooth Jazz Ballads and you are ready for a fun-filled & memorable evening of music. Enjoy.

The band line up is:
Ebony Rosier (vocal). Ebony studied at the QLD Conservatorium of Music before dedicating the past 15 years as a Music Educator in various Toowoomba Schools. Currently teaching at Mater Dei & Sacred Heart Primary Schools, it is rare to see Ebony without a Ukulele in hand as she shares her love of music-making with people of all ages. Ebony has performed the national anthem for numerous Brisbane Bronco’s home games and was privileged to stand in for Tina Arena at the 1998 Gold Coast Movie Awards. She has also sung alongside Julie Anthony at a concert in Brisbane. Fun fact? Ebony loves to wear outrageously colourful hair pieces & hats to work… just for kicks!

Joe Goodman (Keys) - Toowoomba based performer & educator. Loves all things Jazz, especially when he hears something he can’t play yet (happens a lot!)

Ayden Roberts (Bass) - Toowoomba Jazz Society’s very own sound guru… Guitarist & Bass extraordinaire. Ayden also teaches guitar at several local schools.

Bill White (Drums) - The one, the only… Bill White is a Toowoomba Jazz stalwart and was playing gigs before most of the band was born. Still going strong!

Rob Corcoran (Sax/Clar) - All the way from Picturesque Esk, Rob improvises beautifully on both the Sax and Clarinet. He performs in a variety of jazz line-ups across South East Queensland.

Benn Tracy (Trumpet) - Director of Music at St Mary’s College in Toowoomba, Benn directs the Big Band & Jazz Ensembles. He’s also Joe’s boss so be sure to clap extra loud for his solos please!

The theme is Valentine's, red and hearts! Treat your loved one to a great Valentine's gift with a night of fantastic music and dancing!

Admission is $20 for visitors and $15 for members.
Refreshments are provided and there is a raffle and a lucky door prize.
The gig begins at 7:45pm and finishes at 10.45pm
