Black Velvet Jazz Quartet presents a touch of class with their mix of toe-tapping Latin Groove, Standards and Middle-of-the-Road Rock to keep audiences enthralled and entertained. We will have the delightful Deeny Kohler-Caporale singing with a fantastic line up including Graham Muller on keys, Camilla Lanzafarme on bass and Bill White on drums.

South African born jazz singer, Deeny Kohler-Caporale hails from Cape Town and has been residing in Australia since 1979. She is the owner of Bohemian coffee shop and restaurant in King Street Warwick called “Joie de Vivre-the Joy of Life” where she often performs with the Black Velvet Jazz Ensemble. Deeny does a mix of Latin and Traditional Jazz Standards, tossing in an original flavour of Soul to spice things up. She keeps the boys “in line” with her energetic repertoire. Her performance includes popular hits from the charts of Bassey, Cole, Vaughn, James and Holiday, to name a few…..

Her backing musicians are highly professional and it is evident that not only are they experts at their trade, but also fun to be around!

- Start time is 7.45pm
- YOU WILL NEED TO BOOK. To do this please text Michele Alroe and she will ring you back and confirm your booking for your group. Phone Number: 0408 282 007. Let her know if you will be booking for dinner.
-- You will need to sign in with a QR code at the Bowls Club. Please ask for help if you are not sure how to do this. One person from the group can add extra people and just need to sign in once.  Please allow some extra time to do this when you arrive.
- Patrons need to be seated unless going to the bar or bathroom
- No dancing is allowed due to ongoing space requirements
- If you can please bring exact money for your entry that would be appreciated. Change will be available and the bowls club has an ATM.
- You will get a lucky door ticket but there won’t be a raffle.
- You will be able to enjoy great jazz music and a night out with your friends!!
