A young wife, Rita, decides to complete her education and take her exams. She meets a professor who teaches her to value her own insights while still being able to beat the exams. This education comes at considerable cost for Rita, who finds herself growing further and further away from the people she has been closest to as she moves closer and closer to a world that promises more than it can deliver.
