The multi-award winning Toowoomba Choral Society Youth Choir presents their 2017 holiday production, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, at the Empire Theatre on July 8, 2pm and 7pm. More than 100 talented local schoolchildren will take part in this "fantasmagorical" musical.
Originally written for his son, Ian Fleming's book became the much loved 1968 film Chitty Chitty Bang Bang. A sensational score by the renowned Sherman Brothers (Richard and Robert) includes such unforgettable songs as "Truly Scrumptious", "Toot Sweets", "Hushabye Mountain” and, of course, its Oscar-nominated title song "Chitty Chitty Bang Bang".
Reaching a new generation through an enthralling and enchanting stage musical, CHITTY CHITTY BANG BANG details the fantastic adventures of the out-of-the-ordinary car that flies through the air and sails the seas. Sure to delight audiences of all ages.
