We welcome back this amazing orchestra from Brisbane who last joined us pre-covid! We have waited a long time to get them back up the hill!

The Jindalee Jazz Orchestra are an exciting and fresh big band from the Western Suburbs of Brisbane. The group has been playing together for more than 15 years, with a repertoire that ranges from traditional swing, bebop, funk, Latin, rock and pop. Coming together from all walks of life including teachers, engineers and students, the group has performed at the Brisbane Jazz Club, Sunshine Coast Jazz Club, Toowoomba Jazz Club and has performed with a number of other arts groups in Brisbane including Ignite Choir and Evoke Dance and Theatre.

And an extra bonus for the night, we will be joined by a choir. 'Cinqualongs' is a 5-voice a capella ensemble of experienced Toowoomba vocalists who love performing jazz and contemporary classics - highlighting complex arrangements by their Tenor, Doug Brown. The members have sung together (including at the Jazz Club) for many years in larger groups. They especially enjoy the musical challenge - and satisfaction - delivered by one voice per part.
(They also like practising their French during coffee breaks - hence the name!)
'Cinqualongs' is delighted to be entertaining the jazz audience with a bracket of well-known standards.

PARKING: Access the car park off Gipps Street or there are parks in front of the bowling green in Ball Street and access via the gate.

ENTRANCE: Up the steps from the car park on the southern side of the building or from the bowling green side. Disabled access ramp on the Western side (Gipps Street) and through the bar.
